I’m an artscience researcher, curator and science communicator based in Italy. With a PhD in Organic Chemistry and Nanotechnology, my practice developed from scientific research towards the exploration of artistic and audiovisual languages as tools for engaging with science and its relationship with society.

My work focuses on creating interdisciplinary contexts in which artists, scientists, institutions and communities can collaborate across different methods and forms of knowledge. Through exhibitions, artist residencies, installations, audiovisual works, workshops and participatory projects, I investigate how artistic practices can open alternative ways of experiencing and interpreting scientific research.

I’m president and co-founder of Liminal Research ETS, an organization dedicated to developing projects at the intersection of art, science, technology and society. My curatorial research includes the concept of the Fourth Space, understood as a generative condition in which artistic and scientific practices can influence one another and produce new forms of knowledge and science communication.

Alongside the curatorial practice, I develop experimental audiovisual works using analog video synthesis, CRT technologies, moving images and sound.
