WANDALUMEN is a live visuals project by visual artist and naturalist illustrator Elena Perco and video artist and artscience curator Francesco Scarel.
The project explores mutable visual aesthetics through a predominantly analog setup, combining physical materials and optical devices such as wood, paper cut-outs, light, microscopes, magnets, CCTV cameras, old CRT monitors and a modular analog video synthesiser.
These elements are manipulated and combined live, producing constantly changing visual environments for performances, installations and collaborations with musicians and artists.
